Liverpool F C

Liverpool F C the most celebrated club in England and one of the most successful clubs in Europe was started in 1892. It started in the county of Liverpool after they split from Everton and walked away to a new stadium with three first team players. It came into recognition in the beginning of 20th century after winning the League 1 in 1901 and went on to win 18 top division titles(most by any club in England) and came to European recognition in the early 1960s by winning European cup and subsequently winning 5 more in Europe, most recently in 2005(again most European wins by any club in England). Europe was a force to reckon during the Bill Shankly era of 1970s and 1980s, were invincible in England. After the Heysel disaster in 1985 during European Cup final against Juventus, Liverpool fans were wrongly accused of the disaster and English clubs were banned from European contention for 4 years and Liverpool had an additional ban of 3 more years(which was reduced 2 just one year) and after which they weren't that powerful till recent years.
Liverpool F C is a club of culture, a worldwide known club and a celebrated club. Liverpool's fans are known to be the best fans in the world and during the Champions League final in 2005, Liverpool fans outnumbered the opponents fan in the ratio 3:1 and it created a remarkable comeback in the final which Liverpool won in penalties.
The brilliant players of Liverpool include Kenny Daglish, Steven Gerrard, Steve Mcmanan, etc who all had great international careers and managers like Bill Shankly(considered to be the best till date), Gerrard Houlier, Rafa Benitez have all tasted great success and are gems in the Liverpool era...
The most intense rivalries of world football include Liverpool F C-Manchester United rivalry, which goes beyond football, one which was, is and will be a spectacle played under any circumstances(like friendlies) and the local inter city derby with Everton is one of the world's best derbies which has great value in world football.
Finally, all in all, Liverpool FC is one of the best clubs in England, Europe and the world and Liverpool FC is great...YNWA!!!!
